Membership Snapshot

Members of the AFPPA represent all 50 states. Many are primary care PAs, but members also include nurse practitioners, PAs in specialty fields, student PAs, as well as professionals from affiliated fields. Employment settings range from rural to urban areas and include state, local and federal health departments; medical care facilities; schools and community agencies, and private practices. Most members practice in primary care fields such as Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Occupational Medicine.
