Scholarship Application Overview

The AFPPA proudly announces the advent of a great step in our support of students interested in family practice. The AFPPA is offering eight scholarships each year and hopes to increase our scholarship awards annually. Our first scholarship monies come from AFPPA Conference revenue and direct fund raising. Donations of $5.00 or more will be rewarded with a thank you gift of our handsome Family Practice pin. We are now accepting applications for the AFPPA Student Scholarship. Eight scholarships will be awarded annually in September of each year. Three awards are given to junior students in the amount of $1000. Three awards are given to students of senior or masters status in the amount of $1500. There are also two $500 awards made to previously graduated students who are returning to school for a master degree. Time in training is based on the July 1, date of the year applied for. Family Practice pins will also be given to all new AFPPA members. Scholarship application and membership application may be copied and distributed freely.
